I’ve spent the last couple of years working on a new album, with drums by Andy Newmark. Andy played in Sly and the Family Stone and with a ridiculous list of the very best in the business, from John Lennon and Randy Newman to BB King and Bryan Ferry. One of our sessions had a two-day break to accommodate a gig with Tom Jones, Dave Gilmour and Nick Cave. He’s rather good.
