Radio play on Cerys Matthews’s BBC 6 Show

I was chuffed to hear Fencebuilding on Cerys Matthews’ BBC 6 Music show (1:51:49) this morning. If I could marry a voice… She described it as an ‘astonishing piece of music’, which was nice. And the compared it to Radiohead (also nice) and Phantom of the Opera (less nice). Still, thanks to Cerys and her lovely welsh vowells. Here’s a jar of MarrMight to celebrate.

Ever since I heard it on 6 Music I’ve had Fencebuilding on repeat on Spotify. It’s just brilliant. How many Spotify plays do they say it takes to earn a minimum wage? I reckon I’ve doubled that on my own. :)

Nice one Robb, looking forward to getting the album.

Thanks Lee, that’s brilliant. Who else are you into, by the way? I’m curious.

Oh all sorts. Currently listening to quite a lot of Jim Guthrie, especially the instrumental stuff. I write all day so can’t listen to too much stuff with lyrics.

And despite being a writer I still spelled your name Robb. Shocking. :)

I’ll let the misspell go! I tried Jim Guthrie but found him not quite to my taste. Big place though, Spotify. Take care man, roBb
